Cemetary run for the hills

It's a super cool - NOT depressing place to stroll or run or reflect or just get a big fat dose of gratitude.

Lots of renowned dead people, yes, well - like architects Julia Morgan and Bernard Maybeck - and railroad builder and banker Charles Crocker (see angel photo to left) - but here's the thing I love, love, love -

the grounds... and who designed the place?

Frederick Olmsted - Mr. Central Park himself. It doesn't look like Central Park (well, last I looked there were no tomb stones in the park), but there is a familiar beauty and essence. When I visit there, I am automatically elevated - not just because there it's on a hill, but, because its truly ethereal.
